Terminalia arjuna is commonly known as arjuna, which is mostly used for its various medicinal properties. It is a well-known heart tonic that is used to treat all heart-related problems. In Ayurveda, the reddish bark of this tree is the main useful part of this tree.
It is a large evergreen tree that has long and strong roots. This tree will reach up to 70-85 ft in height. It has yellow flowers, conical leaves, and gray color smooth bark.
The flowers bloom from March to June and it bears fruits from September to November. In India, this tree is considered a sacred tree in some religions. The flowers and leaves are used in pooja.
