This tree was used to mark their clothes for washing in the past that’s why it got the name “Marking nut”. This fruit has a 1-inch oblong drupe, which is smooth and black.
The juice of this fruit is used as a dye. The structure of this fruit is also like cashew because of the presence of two components. The upper portion of this fruit is edible and sweet while ripping and the lower part is a smooth and black nut. The nut is the most important part of this tree. It has some chemical components like vitamins, bioflavonoids, amino acids, and minerals. Due to the chemicals present in this nut, it effectively treats some health problems like cancer, arthritis, infections, etc.
