This herbal plant is grown up to 3 ft in height and it has an unpleasant smell. Its tender leaves are light purple in color and the fruits have 6 valves and shallow grooves that contain several rectangular seeds. The native of this herbal plant is India, and now it is widely grown in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
